"Our friendly host emphasized that we had the smallest room as we were a last minute booking, but we found it adequate, comfortable and clean. What impressed most about the room was the sound insulation from the rooms on either side of us- although they both had guests in it, we never heard a sound of toilets, showers or a TV. I would not hesitate to recommend Carthews Corner to fellow travelers."

"The room we were in had aircon fantastic and a shower and bath the breakfast was stunning even took some muffin for the road .Had a lovely swim when I got there.The morning I took a lovely walk looking over the mountain. Thank you."

"The beautiful setting, magic gardens. Friendly, prompt service. Suppers...specially prepared home cooking, and huge portions. Conference venue fitted out with everything you need. Rooms clean and practical. Staff friendly and very helpful. Management takes care of their guests as if they were their very own family. Great job people. I never expected to find a jewel of a venue like that in Queenstown."
